Airée Mare Bracelet
Like the waves of the sea, this bracelet made of delicate spirals flows around your wrist.
Each spiral is made and hammered by hand, so no two are the same.
The closure is formed by a loop that is simply hooked into the last spiral. It is firm but slightly elastic and can be easily fastened with one hand.
I am deeply inspired by antique jewellery, especially Etruscan, Greek and Byzantine. I try to bring this influence into my jewellery pieces which are made to wear everyday.
This bracelet is made of 14K goldfilled brass wire.
Gold-filled means that a thick layer of gold is rolled on and is therefore particularly durable. It is a high-quality gold plating that is in no way inferior to the appearance of solid gold, but is less expensive, but also thicker and more durable than the usual goldplating.
Diameter is ca 19 cm when closed.
All jewellery pieces are made by me. There is no cheap mass production, no prefabricated items, but a lot of love and craftswomanship in every product.
Jewellery care tipps:
Goldfilled is made to last ver very long, but it depends on how you handle it. It might tarnish, therefore it is recommended to avoid chloride and salt water.
Also avoid contact with sunscreen, perfume and cosmetic products - except mild soap or shower gel which is no problem.
You can keep the shine and clean your piece with warm water and mild soap or detergent and brush with a soft toothbrush, if needed let your jewellery sit for a few minutes in the soap water before brushing. Rinse and let dry completely.
Unlike silver and brass, you should not use polishing cloths on gold-filled items.
Handle with care. As the spirals are delicate, they might slip out of each other when twisted to strong.
